Cindy Beams’ work deals with memory, the passage of time, and the expressive dimensions of human and natural forms.  She “discovered” photography documenting her extended travels in Latin American and East Africa in association with Groton School. Now based between New York City and coastal Maine, Cindy makes images that reflect her lifelong interests – personal relationships, especially with children, and the changing world in which she lives.  She has studied photography at the International Center of Photography and Maine Media Workshops.
